MARIKINA SAPATOS FESTIVAL: Walk This Way

This is it!!!

ever shy DEE.

Last Saturday, an impromptu shoe shopping happened to us because Marikina Sapatos Festival arrives in our city for a 2 day event of selling shoes.  Marikina is the shoe capital of the Philippines since 1887 because they really provide wide variety of shoes. Now they're celebrating their 125 years of making fashionable and durable shoes in the country (as well as in other foreign countries). Marikina made it for a hundred years even though the competition to other foreign manufacturers is very tight.

Me and "Dee" bought new shoes, mine was a blue classic pump, while his were a rugged style canvas shoes that fits with his everyday style. Marikina shoe makers are something Filipinos should be proud of.

P.S: I apologize for my lousy outfit, anyway it's not an outfit post. ;)

  2. AHAHAH! There is a shoe capital there!? So cool! hahah. :) I have to say, that green shoe-mobile is the largest shoe i have ever seen in my life :p

I use to wear heels so so much- but now my feet are so wide, that wearing even wide heels hurts the sides of my feet. Grr. :p But I love wearing skirts... so that is like the same level of girliness for me!

  5. Now this is something that I haven't tried yet, shop for shoes in Marikina. This just gives me inspiration. How do you find the rate of the shoes? Are they pricey? Or just right?
