VINTAGE MONDAY || Print on Print Top with Head Scarf

Scarf: Thrift || Vintage Pullover : Thrift || Leggings : Thrift || Cream Platforms : SM dept. store || Eyewear : i2i new york

Happy Monday everyone!

First, I want to thank you to all prayers and good wishes for the fast recovery of my dog. She's getting better now she gets back her appetite. Maybe few more days she'll be on her tip top shape again.  I can now play with her with a not so extensive movements and take a picture of her with glasses and hats and everything, if you are following me via instagram, you know definitely what I am talking about.

I'm very glad that I keep track on my Vintage Monday again. It's been 2 weeks since I haven;t posted about vintage related post or look.  For today, I tried out the head scarf trend, and I was just influenced by the image that pop out on my instagram feed. A girl with head scarf on her head pair it with a vintage style, too bad I don't have a copy of that inspirational image.  It's my bad that to have an instant head wrap I didn't even try to search first on how to do it properly so the diy head scarf that you see here is just work of my playful hand. I just twist and tucked my hair and wrap and twist the scarf around my head. poof! perfectly imperfect Lol! *wink wink* Although i feel awkward about my photos, I still find it quiet good for my vintage monday series. Here I give you my vintage thrift outfit!

VINTAGE MONDAY: I'M DROPPING THE RED CROWN

Vintage Blouse: Thrift || Leather Skirt : Thrift || Black Pump Heels: Payless Shoe Source

Hellloooo!!!
Oh mi Gosh! I can't believe it's tuesday already! How's my time gone? Well, anyway, I know my Vintage Monday Post is quite late but I'd better post it than not and or my post will become wasted again on my draft.

As you all know including my oldest followers on this blog that I have this red hair for a long time. Red whole head, fierce red shade, ginger red,Ombre red, orange red, all that shade of red. There are times that If I'm sick with my red hair I'll bleach my mane to have blonde, but then again I always get back to my red shade. All the way time has changed and somehow my predilection on hair color have grownAnd this time, and I hope I can (finger's cross) I will be dropping the "red crown" which is my red hair. I will be wearing this blonde hair for maybe quite awhile because I am planning to color my hair pastel. I haven't decided yet what color it is and the change from blonde to pastel hair won't be too soon because I don't have time yet since our office are moving again for the n-th of n-th time. So yeah, I will be blonde for maybe a few months or so, thoughthe bleaching process of my whole hair is not done yet, 'cause I have thick hair. So expect me to have a pastel streaks this coming summer.

About the look; This vintage blouse I'm wearing is given by my Mama a year ago. Every time she visits a thrift store, there will never had a time that she hasn't had something for me or for my sister. So sweet Mama! I actually learned from her my thrift store addiction. So I just paired the vintage blouse with my leather skirt and suede heels.

VINTAGE MONDAY: SIMPLY MINNIE

Top and Skirt: Thrift || Purse : Mom's || Heels : Bought locally

Hello everyone! Well, here's my Vintage Monday again, here in PH, it's Tuesday already, but I know in some parts of the world. It is still Monday. *wink* I don't give much effort to my outfit on this post, I just wear my red polka dot midi skirt that I bought recently and I kinda love the 1940's vibe of it, which of I'm really really stoke to wear because it's shouting Minnie Mouse! Luckily, I still have my yellow kitty heels, which I am planning to give away, but then again, I still have the pretty babies. Adding an extra vintage-eye, I grab mom's very old black purse, which I think same as my age now..Hhihi, though it has some scratches and wear, it adds the nostalgia of the past fashion era. Do you love red polka skirts too? do you like my Vintage Monday post? P.S I did try the 1940's hair updo but I fail.. ;(

VINTAGE MONDAY: UNJUSTIFIED VINTAGE PIECE

Skull print scarf : SM dept. store
Floral/Paisley Wide Leg trousers : Thrift
Vintage Paisley envelope clutch : Thrift
Wild child sunnies : @classiqueapparel on instagram

Today’s post isn’t making me happy because unexpected little jinxes happen. Firstly, I forgot thatthe days of these seasons is shorter than the night. I got out of our building 5 pm, to my surprise the justsits in and I didn’t catch the last sun rays of the sun for my outdoor outfit shoot.  Sighs! But then again, I didn’t bother to get upset with the situation and carry on and resume since slr’s pre program settings can manage the dark surroundings and make a photo still looks bright. We head on and try a few pose and voila to all shots! Now, secondly, the minimal issue where my heels keep on poking the soft grass ground, I can’t keep up with my stand every time I execute a certain position. It just keeps on thrusting the ground, making me outbalance. Thirdly, the epic one and a spoiler of a good moment. We thought that we capture every image.. But to our surprise, 60% of captured images is corrupted! Oh no…. I just tilt my head left to right.. Hands on my face….Now I brought to you my vintage Monday, unjustifiable epic outfit. We assume that the new SD card I bought is damaged so I’m going to store where I bought it and claim warranty/replacement. But I’m still positive I will post this no matter what… all’s well Good Vibes still! How about you guys did you ever experience all your prepared outfit shoots gone wrong because of failure photograph?

VINTAGE MONDAY : EDGY PARISIENNE

Red Striped Longsleeves & Leathery skirt: Local Boutique || Beret: Gift || Platform Boots : Asianvogue || Fleece Neck Warmer : Thrift

I miss posting my Vintage Mondays. So today I am posting my Parisian inspired vintage outfit. I know French don’t literally wear red stripes clothing and the beret, but once we have seen combination like this, its signature Paris style. I just inject a little edginess by wearing my platform booties. What I wore, the skirt is bought on local boutiques around town and I really try hard to search an item to pair it. It seems like a leather, but it isn't, it just has an element that makes it leather like, it’s a good thing because wearing true leather can be complicated especially in the type of weather here in PH. We can’t really predict our weather here. In the morning, it’s searing hot and then late in the afternoon it will start to rain drastically. made plans about this outfit a long time ago, but I never seize wearing them until now, I’m delighted because it has a 90’s vibe too, that can match my vintage Monday post.

Have a great and productive week!

xoxo

VINTAGE MONDAY: THE FLORAL PRINT SKIRT

Polka Dot Shirt : Local Store || Vintage Floral Skirt : Thrift || Heels : Parisian by Sm Department Store

How's your weekend has been ? Mine is quite laid back but full of laundry . Today's post is all about this vintage skirt that I bought several months back, I have it altered because it's length is not complimenting my petite height so I ask a friend to alter it.
There was a time that I got tired of using this floral skirt, but I am so glad because I haven't put it on my "to-be-dispose" bag yet. I am able to post this and make a wonderful match-matchy print on print outfit. To match this girly skirt, I decide to pair it with these cream colored chunky heeled pumps from Parisian Sm Dept. Store. I actually remember colorful outfits from Carrie Diaries when I was trying this out in front of my mirror. I also make my hair a little wavy by braiding it for a couple of hours ;)

Thanks for your visit, Bye for now!
Love
Cassie

VINTAGE MONDAY: CREME DE LA CREME A LA THRIFTIER

Belt:girlshoppe || Cat Necklace : Etsy
All items are from a thrift store except for the belt and the cat necklace.

Purity, modesty clarity,. This is what I have in mind while I was writing this post for this outfit. I feel like a vintage “young mom”. Gentle and nurturing is what I perceive on my behavior while I was striking a pose it just so happen that a presence of a young child is missing, that I might have been playing with. Hahaha, am I dreaming to have a baby already? Or is it just, my goddaughter visited me in the office earlier that me and Michael enjoys the company of that little rascal. Anyway, speaking of having a child, I ask him if he wants to, he returned to me the question. Do you want to have now?” Aww, for my part, it’s hard to know if I really want to have a baby or not, it’s a thin line between the “I am not ready yet, financially and emotionally, and quite physically” and the thinking “yes, because I am not getting any younger anymore”.

I sound very intimate now in my life, am I getting you bored now? Hehe, sorry, It started with a cream reserved and modest outfit that I turned the subject into being a young mom and having a baby. In real life I am naturally like this, just talking about nothing that I turned a discussion into something… Oh well, thanks for your time reading my vintage Monday post. I hope you enjoy a piece of my ordinary schemes in life.

love,
Cassie
