SPRING YET

Flower Crown - DIY: || Floral Blazer : Thrift || Moss Green Midi skirt : Thrift || Black Pumps : Fioni by Payless Shoe Source

Hello there!

How's the first week of going back to work/school? I hope you're all doing okay. Doing great with your New Year's resolution if you have one. My 2nd outfit post for the year is a little spring inspired though isn't spring yet. Some of you might know all along that I love flowers and floral prints, that's why I can't get enough of it. And my immortal headpiece that I diy-ed year ago. I don't have much to talk about in this post, just a plain outfit post. By the way, apologized for my noise-see images, my sister is the one who capture all of the shots. She's still managing to learn all the basic of SLR camera. I am glad because she's able to pry on the things that I love to do and being happy about it. Have a happy weekend everyone!

Xoxo

CAT WHISPERER

Second Hand Oversized Kimono : Vanita Sorella || Plaid inner top : Thrift || Distressed Shorts : Vintage Wrangler; Thrift || Chunky Wedge Heels : Primadonna

I’ll take a breather on Vintage Monday Post because today is holiday, even I still got work and a lot a whole bunch to do, personnel is all laid back and enjoying the National Heroes Day of the Philippines. Just a few papers work without the rush. And I’m not feeling vintage-y, so I’m just posting my laid back get up last Aug. 16 when me and my beau visit someone who is really dear to us in the cemetery.

While we’re doing nothing on the cemetery and just waiting and watching the candles melt little by little there’s an astray cat looms around us and when I call him “miing” with the “swish, swish” sound, he joined us and stay for a while and he makes adorable action while we, human petting him… So sweet, and I just thought it might be the soul of our dearest making a connection with us…

As for my outfit, I tried once again the print on print ensemble, and I don't know what is exactly missing but I am sure there is. I want to dress laid back on that day, but I think I am still too dressy. What d'you think? Thank you for stopping by, I can't promise that I can visit back your blog immediately because, I have so many obligations, these coming weeks, but please leave your blog links so that I can visit your blog and follow back if in case you'd invited me and If I'll have a spare time to take peek on the web world. ;)

VINTAGE MONDAY: THE FLORAL PRINT SKIRT

Polka Dot Shirt : Local Store || Vintage Floral Skirt : Thrift || Heels : Parisian by Sm Department Store

How's your weekend has been ? Mine is quite laid back but full of laundry . Today's post is all about this vintage skirt that I bought several months back, I have it altered because it's length is not complimenting my petite height so I ask a friend to alter it.
There was a time that I got tired of using this floral skirt, but I am so glad because I haven't put it on my "to-be-dispose" bag yet. I am able to post this and make a wonderful match-matchy print on print outfit. To match this girly skirt, I decide to pair it with these cream colored chunky heeled pumps from Parisian Sm Dept. Store. I actually remember colorful outfits from Carrie Diaries when I was trying this out in front of my mirror. I also make my hair a little wavy by braiding it for a couple of hours ;)

Thanks for your visit, Bye for now!

FRACTIONS OF FLORAL AND RUGGED STYLE

Korean Brand Floral Blouse || Acid Wash Skinny Jeans: Crissa || Kambridge Patent Heels: Payless Shoesource

Hi all!

Today's outfit post is quite colorful with fractions of floral and bits of rugged. This is what I wore just yesterday and  I can't catch my everyday fashion mood, in a way like last Monday is a monochrome, and now a colorful floral paired with rugged skinny jeans. I know, I am not the only blogger that has an attitude on dressing up like this, I can't help it though. Every morning I wake up, it's a different thing that I wanted to wear in my daily runway... ;)

Hope you all have good vibes today!

Love,
Cassie

Spring Floral's Ringing

SPRING EPISODE I

Here in the Philippines, we only have two season; the dry season and the wet season. So sad that we don't experience the spring, summer, winter or fall. But..

Jan 7th

Sweet, spice and everything nice had happened this day. Technically, this day is our 78th month being together. Don’t know if couples from parts of the world were ever familiar with monthsary. Hmm, it’s common to Filipinos. Afternoon of this day I am supposedly off from work early because I have to run errand for my new endeavor. Me and my boyfriend is planning for a mini business, we are actually working on some papers for this to put up. It took just for awhile and then after that, we ended up like dating teenagers at the plaza, eating cotton candies, lurking at the streets like we haven’t been done before and meeting up with the “minions”.

SANGUINE

Red or sanguine is my 2nd  favorite color next to white and black. I occasionally used red clothing although I don’t have many red cloths in my wardrobe. But as of Sanguine itself as of to the five temperaments, I have a big amount of sanguinity on my personality, like I am quite creative with full of ideas in my messy mind. I sometimes struggle on following tasks and chronically late, tend to be very forgetful and a little bit sarcastic (which sometimes I hate my sarcasm). And as the sanguine person I love being warm hearted and optimistic but I don’t really think I am fully extrovert human being.

Thriftier's Outfit:
Floral Crown - DIY
Floral Dress - Rachels
Red Coat - Thrift
Platform Boots - Asian Vogue

As of my outfit, you see the floral dress that I've worn last post because we shoot this the same day. Just had an idea of two looks in one shot. I had this dainty red coat for over a year now, "as usual" again this is my first time to grab and wear it from the closet. I bought it, I think half a dollar or less on our Local Thrift stores downtown. I add this statement head crown which I really enjoy doing.

I think I project too much on this last photo..How about you? Are you a Sanguine person too? Or melancholic, choleric, phlegmatic?

Feel free to share your thoughts and your blog links too, I love to follow back.. <3

THE SEQUEL TO THE CONTROVERSIAL OUTFIT

This is about the outfit that I guess leads me to fight of my life (so far) because I never quarrel nor fight to somebody since the brawl and hair pulling scene with my cousin 15 years ago. I never fight with anyone. Well sometimes I get disappointed in some people but not too skirmish and pick up a fight.  In linked to my recent post if you have already read it you’ll understand what the substance of my rumblings for you today.

Thriftier's Outfit:
Brass Little bird Necklace - Etsy
Soft linen Outerwear - Thrift
Vintage Inspired Floral Dress - Rachel's (local boutique)
Platform Boots - Asian Vogue

My outfit set here has a story to tell again, I never thought I will roar on to someone wearing this girly, vintage inspired dress. With a soft linen outerwear with crocheted trimmings, with a sidekick of a little bird and paired it with a little toughness with this black platforms. This boots is my favorite of all my platforms and for some unknown basis I barely wear them. The sweet thing about it is because I have worn them to stand tall in front of my sudden adversary.

*sighs* I never really thought of intense confrontations will come to take place that day with this sweet and delicate outfit. And I thought I am done with her but “she’s” not done with me yet! Oh bother what a drama & scene.

I apologized for the negative howls but this is what was happening in my runway lately. I promise this will be the last of the outfit bashing sequel I won’t let her condemn my outfits no more. I hope you’ll never experience any censure, criticism or attack on your fashion sense. Wear what you want; never think about what other people will say as long as you have no set of laws breaking in your office, organizations, agency etc.

Wear what you want!
