MALEFICENT || 83rd MONTHS

Last 7th of June, me and Michael celebrate our 83rd months, and two weeks more to go and we are in our 7th year! Yay! He treats me on a movie date, we’ve watched my most anticipated Disney movie. It’s thrilling for me because I am a Disney kid. I grew up watching Disney movies with my lil’ sister. And until now the notable lines are still in our memory. ;) Though my Michael can’t relate that much comparing the classic Sleeping Beauty into the adaptation, he still appreciates the story and the characters as well. Whenever we’re out on a movie we always argue on the plot of the story and its characters. We grasp our ideas against each other’s view on a film and sometimes we’re too ridiculing on ourselves because we conflict seriously. Just because he wants me to understand his stand in the movie and I too want him to understand that my take is more right than his... We’re fools and we know it and I think that’s one of the perquisites we had why we’re still together until now. ;) I was little displease because before we head of the cinema I took a break in a bathroom to fix myself and of course to pee, No one’s ever want to be disturbed by a call of nature in the middle of the movie you know. All of a sudden I heard 2 ladies chatting about Maleficent.Accordingly, they’ve already seen the movie, and to my surprise... … One utters “the prince isn't the one who kiss the princess,… it’s Maleficent!” Arrrrggg how, annoying because I am in the hype of my excitement because I desire to be surprised at the kink of the movie but it descends because of what I heard prior watching it… Fail.  I already knew the climax before watching the whole movie.. Aww.. Feeling blah! That instant really annoys me. I should have gone to another ladies' room. Oh well. Nonetheless, what happens beforehand doesn’t affect me anymore, after seeing the twist, the effects, the characters, and the flow of the story and of course Angie, I forgot everything that makes me upset earlier. And Hell Yes!! Jolie is one rad actress! Kick Ass. Never thought that they will include much action scenes in this movie, I love it!!

After 4 days

But that’s not the end of my viewing pleasure with Maleficent. I did watch them two times!!! The first is with the boyfriend and the second time is with my sister. My Treat! I treat her because she really loves to watch the movie and for the worth of my real purpose on taking her out, is because she always take good care of my dogs while I am gone.

I am really tired here, you can actually see it in my eyes.. ;) Pardon for low quality images, we just capture it with phone's camera.

Though summer is a perfect season for wearing neon colors, vivid hues and pretty pastels, I push to be different at this time. Even the dark colors are perfect for cold seasons, though I broke fashion rules wearing black on summer days! Why not??

SISTER'S GRADUATION AND OUR VISIT TO ST. JEROME CHURCH

April 11 is a very glorious day for us because our baby has been graduated Bachelor of Arts in Business AministrationMajor in Human Resource Management. I never thought I will have this maternal feeling of enjoyment that she had finished already her Bachelor's Degree . If you’re a regular reader of this little blog, then you already knew that I had only one sister and I am the not so big sister. A little information also about the attire of the graduate. Her University (my alma matter too) follows the unique academic regalia of University of the Philippines. *"Sablay" a sash joined in front by an ornament and embroidered or printed with the University's initials in "Baybayin script" and running geometric motifs of indigenous Philippine ethnic groups.

The fun part is when I am retouching my sister's hair and make-up, my boyfriend is also fixing my hair due to time constraint I never get the chance to do my hair. Thankful that I am because Michael is always here that we consider jack of all trades ;)))

This is the finished up-do that my boyfriend did to me. So messy but be very cute!!

For a sister like me, I never forget to dress up too! And for scorching hot days like we experience I have decided that I will wear something comfortable but eligible outfit that is perfect for this special day. Pastel colors is still in this season that's why, the purple blazer that I thrift way back is pleasing on this combo although I really had the hard time with this cute heels.

This actual photo is a phobia conquering too! My phobia posing in front of so many strangers that is waiting for the Graduation program to end. *sighs* I was like making my own shield not to make eye contact with them and I am aware that they all stared at us while we shoot! The picture was like carefree because of the wind accidentally blown on my skirt. ;D

It is almost dusk when the Graduation program ends, but Papito decided to visit his old School the St. Jerome Academy. He enters the academy about early 1970's but didn't finish his studies there because of untoward and tight circumstances but he finished his school at Manila. He also tell us the story of his mischief and troubles about being adolescent here. ;)

I guess it's just a few knows that I have the fascination for a beautiful old church. While parking the van, I kept saying "oh my gosh, the church is so beautiful". Even the looming of the night didn't keep me to stare and gaze the beauty of the church especially the Baroque details and the belfry. 

The stains and cracks of the structure give additional flare to the baroque style of the old church and the dramatic belfry although the belfry itself is considered not to be visited because of its aged and accident might happen if people try to visit the actual interior of it.

Looking very tired.. ;)
